TEACHER, ARTIST, HISTORICAL DEMONSTRATOR
Ted Hinman is an accomplished, prolific artist and kind teacher inspired by nature and history. Ted's award-winning work appears in galleries and commissions across the Northeast and the Blacksmith Guild he founded has an active membership. Ancient and modern techniques in wood, metal, paint, and other materials harmonize elegantly in his raw expressive art, sculpture, jewelry, and household items, as well as historically accurate replicas. He is a leader in the field and recently created an Art Walking Tour for the Greenfield, MA area to promote the arts, history, and respect for life.
Ted has been teaching to all ages and abilities since 1998 and has developed innovative methods for quicker, easier learning.
